IMO, the only upgrades from the stock ones are either Ricks or Muz. I had a hard time justifying the money as well. In the end I went with Rick's, and the quality was above expectation. They fit like a glove, and have not worn a bit after a year of driving.

I ordered a nylon set from rick, wool set is also nice but big $$$. It will makes the rest of your stock interior carpet looks like crap. I will have honda s2000 words stiches(sewn) in soon. It is a good way to keep your interior from deterioring over time.

Tell me about it. I think I originally budgeted maybe $8k. Now $20k+ later...

I'm still buying crap. The S2000 is worse than crack!

Rick's 1-piece mats here. They were on my wish list for years and finally got them last christmas. I couldn't be happier.

Get Rick's. Those aren't bad at all (although I still wasn't entirely happy with how the passenger side fits after owning it for 1.5 year).

Having the mat covering the hump is the best part

FYI I have 2 pins on my AP1 driver's floor mat.

Would love to have Muz or Rick's on the passenger side but the cost upsets me. I believe the entire interior carpet is something in the $500 range. If it wears down that much I'll shell out the cash in a few years and have a completely new cabin carpet. Till then I'll just keep shampooing it and yelling at people.
