basic job my ass i dont know wat the "09" is like but i just changed the clutch and fly wheel on my "00" and getting that gearbox off is a nightmare when people mention the notorious top bolts pay attention but the pain in the ass aside u should change the clutch while ur at it, and its not about the car weight savings its about unsprung weight savings the flywheel is rotating mass so reducing this will increase acceleration and responsiveness and with unsprung weight even half a pound can make a big difference

Some people like lighter flywheels others don't. I personally like what comes with the car stock.

the lighter the flywheel the better, i think of it that was as far as all motor goes. but when it comes to big power i would stay stock because a 6puck clutch or anything like that would be a pita

I have a fidanza flywheel on my turbo car and I couldn't ever see myself going back to stock. People who complain about light flywheels are either pussies or can't drive.
