Keep in mind one problem. Somehow the ECU forgets you disabled the A/C and the next time you turn on the defroster, the A/C can come on. I do not know of all the factors which affect this. One thing I do know is that every time you disconnect your battery, you have to repeat the process in the link.

It always comes back on I think but the issue is that you can't turn it off no matter what until you do this fix. And yeah I had it done but unplugged my battery and lost it.

Search the forum for the exact write up. It simply involves removing the transmission speed sensor wire from the convertible top module. It tricks the module into thinking the car is not moving
