It appears nowadays that everyone loves that front lip on the s2000 bumper, with every after market bumper it seems to grow and grow until it looks like you look like Mr. Plow... I'm looking for bumpers that do not have a lip on it. I bought my S recently with imo a hideous front bumper (see below) and I was hoping to get like a spoon or spoon replica without the dang lip and it seems almost impossible! I'm hoping this communities extensive knowledge can help me make the right choice and uncover something I may not have previously seen

Do you mean a splitter? I wasn't aware the spoon bumper had a lip. A link to the picture would help. Which bumpers have the lip you're referring too?

 

Is it not called a lip? The shovel scoop at the bottom, I can't post pics from my phone, sorry about that but if you look at 2 pictures, the Duraflex A type doesn't have that scoop or lip at the bottom, but the spoon and spoon replicas do

 

I'm sorry if I don't have the proper terminology, as I'm just discovering all this as we speak

Picture one and two are of the Spoon kit. There is no lip on that bumper, that's how it's molded. The third and forth are the J's Racing bumper. The carbon lip you see is part of the bumper, not an additional add on. Last two pictures are of the Amuse R1 bumper,also no additional lip. The lip you see is molded and part of the bumper.

The only lips without a molded on lip that I can think of at this time is the factory ap1 or ap2 bumpers.
