Default Fuel Pump Help

Hi everyone!

I hope I wrote in the right page. Anyway, just as the description said, I was wondering which one should I buy? My fuel pump needs to be replaced. My car is stock with an INJEN CAI. I've been reading people's comments regarding Warlbro being noise and some has suggested rewiring it to lessen the noise. Does anyone here have a Delphi fuel pump? Is it also noisy?

If you guys have other suggestions on what to buy. Feel free to let me know especially I'm really new to this car.

As for future upgrades, I don't think I'll be doing any major upgrades. Just need to get my car running smoothly first.

Thanks!!!

If you are not going to be doing any major upgrades (SC, Turbo) then why would you want a higher flowing aftermarket fuel pump?

I say just put in a new OEM unit (they are kinda pricey though)

I have no experience with Delphi pumps.

I have installed a few Walbros. They do whine a bit when they prime.

Thanks for the Quick response Scott.
Short term-wise, I just want to get all the necessary fix. Long term, I do want to do an upgrade.

i don't think mine (walbro) is that noisy, and I have the rear tray removed

I am going to be getting rid of it for cheap so that I can upgrade to a walbro 400lph

Thanks for the comments. After talking to my friend's uncle who was a mechanic for Honda, he suggested to just go for Denso which I never mentioned.

Thank you so much for the quick responses! I got the DIY guide. Wish me luck!

you might as well upgrade the pump while you're in there.

the full blown 340 is a good pump, it's silent when running too.
