This may not be in the right place, but hopefully those who have changed/modified their fuel pumps can answer my questions. Any positive input is greatly Appreciated!

First off the first thing to change as far as fuel delivery goes is the pump before anything else.. FPR/Injectors

So heres my questions..

What is the stock fuel pump rated at as far as LPH?

Does Walbro pumps really make an annoying sound?

I plan on buying one that is 255 LPH, is that good enough? I plan on going FI..
Mods.. Spoon Snorkel fabbed to a K&N FIPK / SOS Big Bore TB/ Ported Intake manifold / DC Ceramic Headers / 70mm test pipe + 70mm Catback Invidia Q300.. So the engine breathes very well

What is the rating on the fuel pump that comes with most SC kits? SOS and Comptech

I can pick up a TRE (The Racers Edge) pump very cheap off ebay... any experience with it?

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION
(Keep in mind) I have not yet purchased a AEM EMS

If i replace the fuel pump with a 255LPH does the engine only take the fuel as needed or will it now run extremely rich? Like if i didn't need to replace the fuel pump which will probably be the case does this mess up the Air Fuel Ratio?

 

walbro pumps is louder than the stock pump. it is rated @255lph and Ive seen people use it up to 450hp. you dont need an EMS since fuel output is still controlled via the injectors by the ecu.

 

i have the 255 lph walbro, i guess it's loud when it primes upon turning the key but i think that's about it. a lot of other things are louder that overshadow the fuel pump noise (top down, exhaust, engine, radio)...
