But the short answer is yes, that aluminum flex hose feeds air taken from the passenger side wheel well into the intake air box.

Absolutely not Everything there is a clean install save the OEM airbox which has been gutted, resonator removed, and fitted with a side intake hole to accommodate the air feed hose from the passenger side wheel well. Again I refer you to My Mods thread for additional details/pix.

Note that Emil has the same style AUT radiator cooling plate on his red ride shown above. His retains the original carbon fiber finish unlike mine. I'm just not a CF kinda guy.
