resetting the ECU gives it a chance to learn with the new mods installed instead of adapting over time to the new mod, you would have more noticable results from the start rather than over time.

Reasons? To me it is blocking heat from heating up the aluminum tube, though playing devil's advocate one could say it is trapping heat by being wrapped. I obviously think the former since that's what I typed out.

I've wrapped my stock intake piping on my old DC5R as it sat right above the upper radiator hose and then later I had a friend fab up an aluminum pipe and I used reflective heat tape to cover it. Did it actually help, well according to my KPro my intake charge temps were lower than without, only by about 8~10F, but any drop is better than no drop.

i'll reset it when I have a chance to put gas in my car,
and actually have the road to run it hard.

gas is WAY to expensive to be flooring it for no
reason. haha

BTW I have custom 2.5 piping to a single outlet
uni canister, (which is LOUD). and yes the cai
STILL drowns out my exhaust when in vtec.

must just be the heat wrap but it makes your fujita look like a 3.5" intake rather than a 3". anyhow I see the reasoning behind wraping the intake that with tb bypass, and hondata gasket I bet you will pick up another couple horses
