Have HTG do the install for you. A gear install into a diff is NOT easy to do correctly.

I had HTG do my 4.77's and have had ZERO problems.
As long as we're talking about the install of the diff internals and not the swap of the diff itself. A little bit of mechanical know-how and you can do the diff swap, but I wouldn't even attempt the install of the gears in your diff yourself. They seem to be very sensitive to a less then perfect installation.

If you dont do any highway driving then 4.77's are the best choice.
I agree but also disagree, *ready for the 4.77 vs 4.56 vs 4.44 debate? NO! I'm going to avoid it* you can do highway driving fine with the 4.77s as well, just as 95% of us who have em do. Just don't cruise 35mph above the limit or you'll find yourself hanging out in VTEC. I don't feel like arguing about it anymore so if you spend 30+ minutes on the highway each day, just go for 4.56s or something.

Please just search and read up on the 9 million gear debate threads to decide what you want then have a pro install them in your pumpkin.
