So I have an AP2. I couldn't get the driver side mats to slide onto the existing bracket thing so I just have it laying on the floor. Anyone else have that issue?

I have changed some of my interior which was originally black and don't have the extended mats yet but you can see the contrast you are looking for.

I have an 02 sebring over black. I would love to change my interior to your back/red. Is that doable?

Certainly it is but not inexpensive and takes a little time. The red/black seats I have are from an AP2V1 and are somewhat difficult to acquire, I think the earlier seats are all red and the latter seats lose the headrest venting. 00-03 door cards will fit though. Good luck, I am still not done and has been a couple years.

Yes I have the same issue. Mine is ap1. I was not able to install the bracket on the passenger side. Read the directions and tried hard and set e mails etc. Still, could not install the backet on the passenger side. So it is just sitting there. Its doing fine by the way. I am happy with these mats. But, if anyone knows how to install those bracket on the passenger side of an ap1 please post!
