Talking good brake set up

heres the prob.. got in accident... kissed a curb rly bad.. took out lower rad support .... 4500 in damages.. for kissing a curb at less than 15 mph... oem brakes suck!!!!! when heated (insurance covered everything)

so i need advice... good pads and or rotors... im broke.. so needs to be affordable but i need more stopping power

when accident accured.. abs didnt even kick in... bc it was all over heated... i do know that the oem pads have pressure/heat cracks in them...

so just give me some info about some pads...
project u

or watever else is out there...

i got some power slot slotted rotors all the way around for about $400 installed, and i love my ebc green stuff. however when they are cold theres not much there, but get some heat in them and they work great. also have a lot of brake dust.i think i got the pad for like $80 for all 4. thats just my $.02
