A good correction to AP1 oversteer
So today I went off to work and the weather seemed to be gloomy. It rained a tiny bit with a chance of more to come. Anyway, as I was driving down a freeway loop ramp on to the freeway, I caught myself fish tailing. I got control of the the car but then 2 seconds later I completely spun out. I ended up being perpendicular to freeway and I was right at the edge where the 1st freeway lane and on ramp from the street meet.
My question is, what is a good correction for this oversteer? I know AP1's are notorious for this and I wanted to see if anyone has come up with a great solution. New tires? (I do need tires now), coilover upgrade?
I am currently ap1 stockies with H-tec tein springs and the rest is stock suspension
Thanks guys

the only time i ever had an issue with fishtailing was when my tires were bald...got new tires and now i try to get sidways in the rain and its really difficult...i have to clutch kick HARD to get the ass-end to come out now and even then it goes right back to traveling straight
stay on the throttle and counter.
my instinct from driving fwd forever was cram on brakes or let off the gas and steer have to get that out of your system. also have bald low tread tires rain and winter sand

never let off throttle. its better that you completely lose grip so you can correct it. once you lose complete grip you ca correct it with steering input. but if you lift off, you whip lash and any steering input makes it very unstable and very hard to recover.

what size tires are you running, and as mentioned above how much tread is remaining on those tires ?. Also if your issues are mainly in the rain some tires are better than others in wet weather conditions. My Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 tires are phenomenal in the wet but are no longer produced.
Assuming your alignment checks out and your tires have good tread life remaining, moving to an ap2 tire sizing will help and going 255mm on the rears helps even more to reduce oversteer.

My tires aren't that bad, they seem to have a little tread left but still it is time for a quick change.
Alignment seems to be okk, I still need more driving time to confirm but nothing seems off.
I am thinking about getting wider tires/wheels in the near future

Hahaha now that I think about it, at the very end of the spin, I caught myself on the brake
but thats only because I did not want to go on to the freeway lane lol
