It should have come with a small metal hanger that attaches to one of the bolts on the differential. You need to pull the pipe to the center of the car a little bit and tighten that one to keep it from hitting the bar.

would it work with the stock rubber hanger?

i bought mine used and didn't get the metal hanger.

if anyone can provide pictures that would be awesome.

take a look at this picture. you can see the exhaust hanger attached by the diff. if you did not get the hanger then the seller needs to provide this.
