half shaft spacer quality
hey guys im at the point where i need some of these. i get vibration on acceleration. Are these okay to install at stock height? I know there are a few companys that sell there but does the quality between companys actually alter much? Megans are 75.99 and t1r half shaft spacers are over 160. What other companys sell them and which ones are the best back for your buck but still have a quality piece? thanks guys.

im not positive that you should be getting vibration from the axles if your not lowered. again, im not 100% sure. hopefully someone else chimes in on this
I believe you can switch the inner part of the rear axles and the vibration will go away.
The vibration is due to wear in the bearing cups, lowered or not.
There are 2 options to get the most life of the mod. There are also 4 stages to this issue:
1) add spacers (option 1)
2) swap L & R bearing cups (option 2)
3) swap cups AND add spacers
4) new cups and bearings.
Going in this order, I would assume you can go close to 200k miles before needing new parts.
For the OP, as far as quality of spacers go, these are not hard to machine and as long as they're round and the thickness dimension is consistent, any of them will work. I've had my aluminum EBAY spacers for over 4 years with no problems so far. I've clocked about 50k miles on them.
I would suggest the 2 piece variety for a MUCH EASIER installation. I cut mine in half to ease install. But it would be nice to already have 2 pcs.
From what I understand, spacers have nothing to do with how low the car is as much as how much use and load the bearings inside the "cup" see <- which are causing vibration due to pitting inside. The spacers (or swapping cups) just give the bearings a "new" wear surface.
Hope that sums it most of it
