It's personal preference . Why are you asking us on how to mod your own car? It varies from person to person your going to get a lot of different answers. Now if you were looking to make power we could tell you what's best. But as far as how YOU want your car to look is all up to you man. Look at the official hardtop thread in the gallery to get an idea of what YOU want or we could spend your money for you I guess.. if I come off rude I'm sorry but I never understood these type of threads . They just don't make sense its like taking a shower with your socks on it just doesn't make sense to ask someone what looks better when ultimately you have to drive the car everyday..

 

This should be all personally option on how you like your car.

I personally love carbon sides on spa yellow or full carbon. Go with 1x1 plain weave.

Also when buying, think of future mods you might be adding on. So maybe everything can flow together.

your not being rude at all but i just like all styles of painting or just leaving it cf. so im just asking for opinions to help me make my decision.

 

im going to be running overfenders and later on maybe some carbon fiber fenders so i think the carbon sides will flow well with it.

 

As stated above, it's preference. If you can't decide then look at photos and see if that helps you to determine what you prefer. Polling is never the way to determine you preference on any topic.

I kind of got out of the whole carbon fiber scene. Now saying that I have arp mirrors. Persoanly I like a little carbon fiber as a accent piece. Id persoanlly get the carbon a-pillarrs and then paint the rest of the top spa yellow to match the car. So ill throw in the 3rd vote for you! Little bit of both!

 

get the carbon top, paint it, leaving the sides exposed.

don't, don't, don't, paint the entire top...looks horrible.

 

Id definitely go for it all painted. I'm not a fan of sticking random carbon parts strictly to look like it has lightweight parts when in fact it is just a layover.
I think all painted spa except for black painted sides would looked the best. Unpainted carbon body parts look terrible IMO.
