Default Hardtop

Hello guys, I'm looking to purchase a hardtop. Can't afford OEM. Was about to buy ballblade CF OEM v2 hardtop for around $3000. Fitment is pretty good. Most reviews give it a 9/10. Some says just slightly under OEM. But while looking around today I came across RSG amuse hardtop. Some buyers review and give it 9/10 for fitment. And RSG amuse is much cheaper than Ballblade oem v2, only around $1300. Who should I buy it from? Can some hardtop owners give me some more info and your experiences with these 2 hardtops? Thanks a lot in advance.

If this post was made before, please help me find the link to it. New to sk2i, not very good with doing research in this forum yet.

If you're willing to spend $3k for a ballade rep(for that price you can get an OEM top in not so good condition btw), why not get an authentic FRP Mugen? The quality of Mugen tops are on another level compared to replica tops.

I can't not find any used hardtop for under $4000. And I do like the OEM looks over mugen.

I'll just say that I like the oem tops a lot as well. Every time I see threads like this it starts me wondering if I should just sell mine. I hardly every use it. But, I can't bring myself to let it go for some reason.

You can get them from the UK for around $2500 shipped to an airport plus customs if you're dead set on getting an OEM top for cheap.

What does the ballad top include for $3k? It better include all the hardware and it better be good hardware since adding oem hardware and seals to a $3k hardtop will put you right at the cost of a good used oem top or even over that.

It's a little under $3k with all the seals, but I don't know if it comes with mounting hardware. OEM mounting hardware isn't necessary for proper fitment anymore though. Forbidden, RSG, and at least one other vendor make solid 2 piece latches that are cheaper than the OEM stuff.

The Ballade top is pretty, but I know people have had issues with them and their customer service can be less than stellar.

The Ballade top if you get it with the glass comes with all hardware and seals; it's a really nice top. I have seen in person it's quality and worth it but if you got 2k extra you can always get an OEM

Anyone know what the weave pattern is on the carbon fiber (1-1 or 2-2) on the authentic Mugen hard top? With good quality factory tops going for $5k, they are looking more appealing.

They're not too far away from my house. They said if I can go their they will install for me. Include all seal and rear glass with the heat line thing. And the exact price is $2900.
