one reason I wanted to get the OEM HT, it just seems more simpler and I don't have to worry about extra parts/kits, plus it's finished on the inside. I've always thought the kits for aftermarket HT's are very expensive too.

What hardtop are you finding for $900?

Here is what I found.
http://site.s2khardtop.com/Products.php
FRP Mugen Style Hardtop $900
Hardware Kit (with purchased hardtop through s2khardtop.com) $300
Shipping to the 48-$250
It also states if you buy the hardware kit with that hardtop they will ship in same box, so no need for seperate shipping.
Total-$1450. It doesnt say anything about tax so idk about that though.
Then whatever it would cost you to paint it. but for that price it seems like a really good deal with hardware.

more simpler? really? .....lol.. sry pet peeve.

I've looked into the Mugen style hardtops and fitment is almost always iffy with possibility of leaking and wind noise.

Although I like the look of the Mugen I believe I will go with OEM.

Be aware that the aftermarket hardwares kits are inferior in comparison to the OEM mounting kits. its better to pay that little bit extra and put OEM on for quality even if you do go with the Mugen style.

don't dismiss the Mugen top just because a lot of the knock offs have poor fitment. i have never heard complaints about an actual Mugen top.
