Default Hardtop install

is there a hardtop on the market that completely replaces the soft top?

Like a retractable hardtop? If so, no.

no not retractable, i mean a hard top where you take out all the soft top components, all I've seen is hardtops were you put the soft top down and put the hardtop over it

taking out the soft top is an option for all hardtops but I dont think any hardtop requires it (maybe the Spoon top).

best option is OEM, but pricey. replicas tend to be hit or miss depending on the batch you get. if youre local to forbidden, I would go with them

I had an aftermarket top, and now have the OEM. IMHO, the OEM quality is way, way better and worth the premium.

Oh, and I also removed the soft top along with all the plastics behind the seats. It will be a bit louder as you lose quite a lot of noise insulation. On the plus, there is a lot more storage space!
