Default HARDTOP OWNERS

hey i just got my top in and im in the process of installing it does anyone know if there is suppose to have a finger width gap all the way around the back?

I seem to remember that the weatherstripping produced a gap. Is this what your talking about? If so, give it a week or two and it will flatten out.

well i saw some pics of other cars it looks like they added weather stripping but not to sure. im also having problems with my window i cant close the window when the door is closed because of the weather stripping on the top right corner of the window. maybe this will flatten out too? ill try to post of pics soon other than that it looks SICK

It will always have a slight gap. As far as the window issue, try adjusting
the side catchers with your top on. Losen the bolts then retighten them.

The directions that come with it and the Helm's manual have a diagram on how to check that gap. I don't have either here at work. Do you have either with your top?

Yes it is ment to have a gap all the way round the bottom of the hard top. This is to keep it away from the body of the car.
I put mine on this winter and found it squeeked alot so have taken it back off.
