Default hardtop pricing

How much is too much? Honda quoted me around 600 to install the mugen hardtop. Is that right? Or should i just spend an entire day on it by myself and do it? How hard is it to install. Keep in mind i cant read the Japanese manual that comes with it. lol

600$, hell i'll do it for that! its not hard, just time consuming getting it adjusted to fit right. i did my own. if its a original mugen, it comes with oem latches. thats a plus. no pics in the instructions? good luck.

this should make it easier, hell no spending the $600. All you need is plenty of time to do all the adjustments.

I bought my oem top used so the adjustments were done already. It took me 30 minutes to install the hardware and I was done. I didn't do the defrost wiring because my top came off an ap2. I need to order the harness for an ap1

you shouldnt have any problem getting some of the local s2k owners to help you out. throw in a case of beer and youre probably golden. i know i would help in a second if i were local, just so that when it came time for me to install mine, i would know how.

I'm assuming that the dealer predicts about a six hour job. Thats rediculous. Do it yourself and save the money and the time and hassell. You can do this easily in less than two hours.

maybe i'm missing a part then. The plug from the hardtop has no where to go. There is a harness that goes between the top and the car i believe. Am i right?
