Default Hardtop Quick release options

Hey S2K Gang!

Looking for a good alternative on OEM style hardtop quick release brackets. I have researched Ballade Sports set and Forbidden-USA set. Does anyone have experience with either and can recommend which way to go? Also is anyone selling their complete set?

Thank you!

I have the Forbidden USA ones, they work fine except that they can slowly loosen over time, so then you have to tighten the handle back up. Oh and you will have a sharp metal rod right near your head, keep in mind it will be uncomfortable if that pierces your eye or something in an accident.

I also have forbidden ones, rods don't really get in the way and still have both my eyes.
No issues other than intermittent binding. Lubricating all friction points really helps with that. Overall works well for me.

So is there a reason you want to switch brackets? Do you want to mount the hardtop permanently with no quick release?
