Hardtop seals

Default Hardtop seals

I just got a ViS hardtop and the window seals are kinda crappy. For those that have replaced them, what did you use? Also, will OEM hardtop window seals work?

Yes oem window seal will work but 3 times more than the VIS expect to spend 400+ just for the seals..

#1 (x2) CLIP
#9 WEATHERSTRIP, R. ROOF SIDE DOOR
#14 WEATHERSTRIP, L. ROOF SIDE DOOR
#20 (x4) GROMMET ASSY., HARDTOP WEATHERSTRIP
#21 (x2) SCREW, TAPPING (4X10)
#23 (x2) SCREW, TAPPING (4X20)

You're going to need the retainers too, i think it's #12 in the diagram

OEM, I was quoted $350 a side by Honda Australia, so I decided to put my own setup together. Works perfectly well without the OEM cost, so it can be done.

I was able to source from a rubber and plastics manufacturer, what you see above is actually 4 individual pieces contact adhesive'd into place. If you look closely at the first pic you can see the 4 pieces (starting from the outside to inside of the car).
