Post Hardtop strikers really do work!

Thought I would throw it out there in case some people are thinking of installing them. Took only a few minutes. Very easy to do. Just one screw hole got messed up somehow, so need to re tap it or something.
I was having tons of wind noise coming in from the front of the top right where it meets the windshield. I installed the hardtop strikers and today no wind noise at all. There is the usual noise of the wind hitting the convertible top, but no air coming in noise anymore. I can actually hear my radio again while driving. Great thing to do!! I know someone recently posted a way to do it without getting the new strikers. Whichever way works for you, but I am soooo happy I replaced mine!!

you can also just put a washer to act as a spacer between the body and the plate...quick fix.

Alot of people do this. I will be doing it soon also, the cabin is so loud at highway speeds. I know this car isnt supposed to be quiet but if I push the top down against the windshield it gets much quieter.

I already had the hardtop strikers for a while so decided to go with that since I had them already. I'm
sure the washer method is good as well.
