My HTG installed Comptech diff with 4.57s lasted less than 18k miles before a tooth broke off the pinion gear.

That being said, he's now contracted with PuddyDad, whom I trust completely.

I'll refrain from commenting on others' experiences and only relay mine. In March '04, I installed a HTG diff containing 4.57's. At the time I was just getting into autox'ing and still had a mostly stock motor. I have since been CTSC'd in fall of '04 to 310 rwhp. In '05 we went to 372 rwhp and '06, to 398 rwhp. During those years, I did some more autox'ing and tracking. In late '06, I went with an InlinePRO 2.5L stroker and make about 250 rwhp. I predominantly track the car now.

My point? I still have the same diff I purchased in nearly 4 years ago.

Jeff is just an awesome guy. He gives you one on one customer service, will talk you through any issues you have, etc. I have his 4.77 diff in my car and have had it for a while now. I am very happy with it! I've had several orders and spent several thousand dollars with HTG and have always had good results.

I can attest to how great Ben's installs are (S2KPuddyDaddy). I have his personal diff, and I must say that I wouldn't trade this for ANYTHING. Now that Ben's doing installs for HTG, I'd def think that HTG installs are the way to go. Even before I got word of Ben, I was researching HTG, and nobody has ever had any problems with him. His customer service is amazing as well. Even though I asked HTG a MILLION questions, he still answered everything without hesitation.

Hardtopguy (Jeff) is a good guy, does good quality work, and is a true car enthusiast so he understands what level of customer service is required to be in this business.
Many people in the circle that I run in have had him perform various installs with no complaints.
