Default Has anyone had both J's 60RS & 70RR

How much more power would the 70mm make over the 60mm,
because I found a 60RS for only 800 and most 70mm seem to be around 1200.

Is the performance difference worth the price difference?

PS. The 60RS is basically a 60RR because the guy had a test pipe and is selling the whole thing.

From what I have read and heard, the 70mm makes better power on the S. I think I am gonna go with the J's 70RR.

If you dont mind the crazy sound, go with the 70rr. How loud it is, is very subjective though.

60rs is still a RS with the test pipe. the RR models do not have resignators either.

look for a 70RS (new) should, hopefully be tolerably loud for everyday driving + youll make more power!

I was not aware of that difference, but it makes me want to steer clear of the RR as this is my daily driver.

Also, why do you suggest new, I assumed that a slightly used exhaust would perform just as well as it did when it was new, am I wrong in my assumption?

Thanks for the insight guys.

I'm running the 70RR on my DD, and IMO, it isn't that bad, as most of the sound goes straight back.
I'm happy with it all-in-all.

i said (NEW) because of the new 70RS with the resignator! (not the RR)

you can find, and believe there is one in the For Sale forum, a used 70RS but its more difficult since it has only been available for a short amount of time.

GL!!

great exhaust, but a 60 is still a 60, and 70 is still a 70.
its bout 8-10 hp difference, unless u like the way it looks and u cant go widout it then get it for cheap! like 800 or lower u might as well and if its in super good condition is a plus.

but then again u might as well get something thats 70mm if u want HP and u dont mind more noise.

one more thing is J's exhausts dont fit on MY06+ s2ks, so boo to that

i luv that exhaust and its Ti and its perfect for what i want... but i have an 06 s2k stupid J's, i might have to settle for T1R dolphin tip... or i might just go ASM... but anyways something to think about 60mm is too small nowadays
if you decide to go turbo or supercharger u can keep your 70mm... with 60mm u will have to part and buy again
