This header good?
Would be interesting to see a dyno on a stock car, although I have a feeling that the header would be similar to the DC sports one.
When something is cheap, people automatically assume it's cheap. If the unit sold for 700 dollars, I'm sure people would actually take it seriously. Since it is so cheap though, everyone is just going to assume it sucks and will not try it.

Am not sure about the quality. I cannot tell exactly, but from the picture I see the weldings are not so good. Maybe the photo is not the best available. I would like to see the welds form a closer view. Between us, I wouldnt bet on it... and I dont see any dyno plot
I understand that this header might be cheap at cost but maybe not at quality.
It makes me laugh all the people saying they wouldn't buy this header because OBX doesn't have a dyno sheet for the testing. I have never seen any dyno sheet on the website from spoon, mugen, J's racing, amuse, 5 zigen or even Toda. why are those header then deemed better?
My.02 don't want to start a war here just asking the questoin everybody is thinking....

Since the OBX is a "bad brand name" due to other parts they've made, they actually have something to prove. If they did a series of 5 dynos with stock cars, all showing an increase of power somewhere in the power range, then they would sell their header. Since they provide no backup and have no test market, people will be skeptical due to all of the parts out there for our cars that aren't very good.
I think I covered that pretty well
It looks like they copied another manufacturer's header and threw it together. THe welds do look sloppy compared to what you see from comptech, mugen, toda, etc. The header may work fine. Typically the addage "you get what you pay for" is relative to what you're buying. Would you buy OBX brake rotors too? Hmmm....makes me wonder about the header now....
Most Good aftermarket companies spend hundreds of hours in R&D to make a good high quality product that will perform as the client expects it too. Add in different philosophys of tuning and the market differentiates itself a little. "You get what you pay for" - a product from a company that invested the time to give you a great well made product that performs or a product that someone copied to a degree and sells it only because the next closest thing costs 3X more?
