Default Headers and mid pipe

Hey guys so I recently just installed the invidia q300 exhaust on my 04 ap2 and also the AEM v2 cold air intake and I'm very satisfied !! I now want to install the headers and and mid pipe ... Any suggestions? Whether i should just get the same headers and mid pipe by the same manufacturer Invidia ? Or if I can get somthing better that will sound the best and more power !

SEARCH and youll find plenty of info on headers, exhaust, test pipe / HFC etc... Not much power to be gained with just an exhaust n header. A tune will help with mid-range. Figure out where you want to go with the car and go from there.

Mid pipe? You mean a test pipe or high flow cat? A mid pipe should of came with ur q300. From front to back it should be: header to cat/test pipe to mid pipe to muffler(s).

And its "header", not "headers".... we dont have more then one header unless u got a v6 or v8 under your hood.

The Invidia header is horrible for power, and the stock header is very hard to beat. If you want good sound and midrange, you should follow the URGE project thread regarding his mid-pipe development. It should be a bolt-on upgrade to the Q300 dual.

I wouldn't bother with the header unless you're willing to spend a good bit of money for a real high end one. I would rather use the header money, and a few bucks more, for Flashpro and a test pipe.

Invidia makes good quality products, their headers are good too. They will definitely give you more sound, but I'm not sure how much more power you'll get without a tune though.

Just get a testpipe. You don't really need a header.
