Default HeelToe Auto: Suggestion Box (The Next Best Mod)

Hey Everyone,

We here at HeelToe are always looking for the next new idea and modification we can create at a low price and high quality for our S2000 friends. All our fabricators are local to us, so we have access to them quickly and are able to make corrections and alterations right away instead of sending parts else where to make and take delivery of parts that are sub par or not to our liking. With that in mind we are looking for new ideas from our S2000 community to make parts for.

We can create parts in Fiberglass (FRP) Carbon Fiber we even have access to a metal fabricator to makes custom roll cages, front splitters etc...

So what new modification have you thought about that hasn't been created that you think would benefit the S2000 community? A twist or improvement on an old part? We are looking for some original ideas, or possible parts that can be improved upon. We are NOT looking to REPLICATE any part (there are plenty of other manufacturers out there for that)

Please post here or send me a PM so we can discuss further. Maybe your idea will be the next part we make I hope to hear from you soon. And if you local and would let use your car for R&D let me know!

What we have in the pipe lines:
Our own FRP/CF/Kevlar Side Diffusers (FRP $200 or under)
Cross Beam Cover In CF/FRP/Kevlar and possible Aluminum (In production)

My opinions.

Some kind of carbon or fiberglass arm for the OEM airbox.

Maybe some kind of cover like that PWJDM airbox lid to give the airbox a cleaner look.

A puzzle kit for the engine bay like the Mastergrade one. Fiberglass or carbon. That way it would cover up all the stuff in the engine bay to give a cleaner look.

I know thats all engine bay stuff, but hey I think stuff like that priced reasonably would sell well.

A nice looking splitter under lip protector for the AP1 OEM lip because the other ones out there are either way too much in price or stick out too much.
I would be interested in seeing something like this.

Also, I think someone should make an actual air duct (one that requires cutting of the front bumper) to work with the factory air box or mugen intakes. I have thrown around the idea of pairing just a duct with the AUT cooling panel, but there aren't any duct options besides the old Alex Racing one, which was not flattering to look at, and I don't think you can find them new anymore anyway. They only duct I know of is the carbon one ASM makes for the front ASM I.S bumper, and it is over $400 and is a piece you would have to wait for.

So in short, I would love to see a stylish air duct for the front bumper that would possibly include some sort of attachment panel that direct air to the factory air box.

I agree with some possible airduct inventions. And with a good price, and it being stylish. Im in The curent air ducts/snorkles are kinda expensive and Im sure there is a better way to make one, along with an AUT cooling plate as stated above

this.

ive been looking for that mr. alex piece for a while. a snorkel to go from the stock box direct to the bumper and having to cut the bumper would be perfect.
