Default HELP did ap2 swap and ecu how to bypass immoblizer

I recently blew my ap1 motor in my ap1 and i did a swap to ap2 motor and ecu but it won't start unless i use ap1 ecu. But i was wondering how i go apon this by bypassing the ecu without the key and also if there is cheaper method without buying aem ecu. Will hondata flashpro bypass this?

I can't say if flashpro or anything has the capabilities of doing this since I have no experience with them, but with the OEM ecu you can take the car do a dealership, or even have a locksmith come and program your keys to the new ECU.

I lost my keys once and didn't have a spare, luckily my door was unlocked. A locksmith came and cut me a key, then after he got it to turn in the ignition, he plugged in a computer thing to my OBD port and then did something to it, then the car started right up with the new key. Later I found my old key and it no longer will turn the car on, but it will still open the doors and turn in the ignition.

Flashpro will only work with Drive by Wire ECU's..(06+). another option is k-pro which can disable the immobilizer

Use the AP1 ecu to drive the car to the dealership...then at the dealership, plug in the AP2 ecu and have them recode it to work with your key.

About 2 hrs of book time.

^ Agree'd. It will also cost an average of around $100 to get them programmed to the ECU, just so you're aware.

Yes sir, the dealership or even a locksmith can program a key to your AP2 ECU no problem.

I think it's the VIN from the donor car that you need, not the serial number.
