Default Help with Ebay lip.

Okay I know, I know. It's an ebay lip so the fitment isn't going to be perfect. But the problem is, I have absolutely NO idea how I"m supposed to install this lip with the hardware they gave me. Unlike most lips I see, the middle holes on the lip don't even reach the bumper holes. They gave me some weird brackets and pin like things.

Also, when I try to screw in the sides of the lip the screw itself hits what seems to be my fender liner. Are the screws too long or something? I was wondering if anybody could advise me because I have no idea where to begin. Here are some pictures:

THANKS!

those are brackets that you have to rivet them to the lip and then you could use your factory hardware to bolt the lip to the bumper.

btw the lip fits good.

Whew at least somebody knows what they are lol.

Well the problem is what am I supposed to attach the bracket to the lip with? And how do I use those silver pin things that came with the hardware?

Okay so after a bit of searching I found out that those silver things are the rivets you were talking about..

Well I don't have a rivet gun, and before I go and buy one, is there any way I could just screw the lip onto the bracket instead of riveting it?

I would think you could screw it on but the rivet gun is very cheap I would just rivet them

Okay I'll go buy one then.

Two more questions, did you have any trouble screwing in the sides of the lip to the bumper? When I try the screws seem to hit my fender liner, preventing it from going in any further. Also, for the 4 brackets with bends in them, which way do I put them on?

the brackets with bends are on the outsides the straight ones in the middle and the screws just screw them in even if it pushes the fenderliner alil

Well I managed to get it on, but it's a little misformed, so I can't get the middle bolts to bolt on. I did however screw the sides in, so I think I'm just going to ziptie the middle.

I bought the same lip with the same hardware, the predrilled holes do not match up and have to be altered with a drill. I also used bolts and screws to mount the brackets

I think it would have been easier if the lip didn't come kind of twisted out of shape. There's no real sunlight these couple days either so I couldn't leave it out in the sun. I tried using my hairdryer but the problem is I don't know what shape it originally was lol. Anyways I said fk the rivets and just used some screws I had lying around to screw the brackets onto the lip, then I ziptied the holes where the bolts were supposed to fasten onto my bumper.
