Default Help With Fender Roll

Hey guys my car is in the shop getting some work done and I was going to have them roll the fenders I was looking into lowering springs .75 or 1" I was going to go with 225 in the front and 255 in the back. The rims are 17x7.5 with +45 offset how much would I need the fenders rolled for it not to rub?
Thanks

I don't think you're going to rub with that setup

I'm running 8 inch in front and 9 on the back with 225/255 and no rubbing at all. I am on stock ride height though. If you lower it you will probably need a light roll with bumper tab relocation.

I figure I'll need to roll a little once I"m lowered but about how much is a little in terms of fender rolling? Can I just tell the body shop a little, or do I need to tell them a certain amount?

I'm no fender rolling expert but I don't think there's different amounts of roll. I'm pretty sure it's either rolled or not. You will also need to have the tab relocated which isn't too difficult.

Good luck with your setup, I never actually did a fender roll but I did a ton of research when I was shopping for wheels.

You are going to have 17x7.5 wheels all the way around? And you are going to put a 255 tire on that? That's going to look like crap. You should be running at least a 8.5 inch wide wheel in the rear.

yeah, you can definitely roll the fenders to varying degrees. you can fold the inside lip of the fender only slightly or all the way to flat. after it's rolled flat then you begin to pull the fender beyond that. there is also a difference between rolling the fender just at the top of the fender's arc, then going down on the leading and/or trailing edge of the fender as far as you want.

I dont think you will need fender rolling with that setup either. But if you must, go to/msg OLEGATOR. Great guy ! ! !
He did mine and half of the owners in mid-A. Very professional, reasonable rate and does an amazing job. Dont think he is someone out of the garage, his garage is a freaking SHOP, with lift and everything you can imagine.

If you decide to get them rolled, I'd just tell whatever shop you go with that you want your fenders rolled flat, with NO pull.
