Default Help me...What Intake?

Well i simply want an intake already brought it down to two choices but i just cant decide wich one lol..Im stuck between the NRG INTAKE, Or the CT Intake....They both range in the same area of price.

Which one will sound louder?
Which will have more gains?(If there are any)
And if for the NRG Intake will i have clearance or i will have to do some Hood cutting?

I have search the forum but very little info on the NRG so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have the CT and I think its great. Sounds good, looks good and since the revision 2 it fits really well. Plus it leaves ur doors open incase u want to supercharge down the track

I think the NRG does require hood cutting. The ct should have better sound. I have it, its a great intake that you dont see that often and the cf lid looks great too

Personally not a big fan of sticking the filter in a box, like these 2 intakes.

I would go with the CT Engineering intake. Its CARB legal, and fills the area nicely, and it doesn't cost an arm and leg. But the biggest thing for me was the CARB legal sticker.

The draw back of the Mugen style intake is of course the requirement of cutting your hood. Not to mention of course it is also not CARB legal.

How does it sound compare to stock? Also I really wanted to buy this intake but there is little info on the fitment. I have a 2004 AP2 and the stock horn is exactly where tat airbox sits. How did you relocate it?
