Default Help with mod. Dont know what to do.

Newb question. Do you guys feel like the car lifts up after 150km/h(~93mph)?

I was driving on the hwy, I felt I was gonna do a wheelie on the hwy(freeway) after going just about 150. I have an MY03 AP1, no front lip, OEM bumper, side strakes and OEM spoiler (not wing). I dont know what to do to make the nose stay down.

I'm interested in a local CR lip+AP2 bumper. Will the lip help considering the design looks like it's suppose to push the air up. If that CR lip wont do, what mod should I do to make that front stay down?

Thanks!

If you want the front down get a front spoiler and you will get tons of down force.

But at that speed your rear will be VERY VERY unstable, so you will need to get a wing or at lest or rear diffuser to balance it out.

The s2000, IIRC has more "lift" in the rear.. If you were getting twitchy at 150, it was likely that the back end was floating, not the front.

off the top of my head, for an aerodynamics project I did for my fluid dynamics class, I read that the S has about 25kg or so of "lift" at 100mph. Lift doubles exponentially with speed.

C-West testing has some good info:

If my math is correct, the AP1 tested ~112 lbs of lift in the rear at 90 MPH.

This is actually the first time I've ever connected with a car. lol I'm pretty sure it's the front cuz it gave me the feeling like I was about to pop a wheelie (since the S is RWD). I could be wrong since it's my first time. BTW, I'm Canadian, so it was about 93mph (150km/h), and 25kg is nothing, that's like 55lbs, dont think that'll do much effect, does it?

Sway bars can help me with going @ high speed? I thought they're for handling/cornering/turning not stabilizing at high speed.

I've never noticed any floating above 90mph, my car feels just as stable at 60mph. Maybe alignment or tire balance?
