Default Help with mods

Hey guys I'm new to not only this forum but also s2000's. I just got my s2k today and I'm wanting to get a bit more power out of it. My horse power goal is 300 wheel. I was wondering if you guys could help me on what I'm going to need to get inorder to reach this goal.

All you need is the SEARCH function.

I typed in "300whp" and look what came up:

Basically you need a supercharger or a turbo.

Minimum cost ~$3000.

bolt ons? pretty much nothing significant. here are my guesstimates, YMMV

get the best intake (~$200, 3hp?), header (~$800, 10hp if any?), exhaust (~$800, 10hp?), you might be a bit faster if you get a single exhaust because of weight savings. then you can get either piggy back (VFACII, etc..) or another EMS solution, tune and dyno it...

you can drop a lot on NA, bolt on tuning and get maybe 230rwhp if you're lucky.

honda maxed out this engine pretty much, so you won't see gains like you would on a Civic or an RSX just for bolt ons.

If you want cheap power, go FI. If you want NA power, you gotta get a stroker kit and up the displacement, and go from there...

i'd say 4.77 geared differential and a 50-shot of nitrous should do you well. then you'll have the extra pull of the gearing daily and the extra push of nitrous on the weekends/as needed...
