Default help with picking a clutch

hey guys i got a 2000 s2000 and im experiencing the clutch buzz i was reading in a other topic. i was thinking bout changing my clutch plate and clutch all together and maybe also a lighter flywheel since im doing all the other stuff. what are some decent or good clutches with decent pricing and near stock feel when i press down on it. i dont mind some heaviness if it cant be helped. i just dont wanna have to do the a-stomp on my clutch to get it goin. thanks for the help

if you really do need to change your clutch and your not boosted go with oem.

oem is good and it will hold for a good while. act has a great driving feel but it has lots of buzz.

but what clutch do you have now? stock?? you shouldnt have much clutch buzz even tho its a ap1

I have clutch buzz on my MY00 too. But right before I know it's about to buzz, I just shift into neutral. It has become a habit so I never really think about it anymore. (:

It's overkill on an NA car, but the Science of Speed sport clutch is another great option, and if you have any plans to go SC later you'll be set in the clutch dept. I've been running mine for a few months now and the buzz is 100% gone. Makes driving the car so much more enjoyable! I found myself constantly anticipating the buzz whenever decelerating before the new clutch. Now that the buzz is gone the car seems so much quieter/newer.

If your not boosting just get the OEM. Exedy makes an OEM replacement clutch which amazing. Its a little to light for me but ill get used to it again.

oem will be fine for you... but if you want some more holding power with oem feel the CenterForce dual friction is AMAZING. slightly stiffer than stock... but barely noticeable. I also went with the Science of Speed Ultralight weight flywheel with stainless lines... i love this combo and will buy it again in a heart beat. i know several guys on here running a similar setup with the CenterForce dual friction... all of them love it.
