Default Help: Snorkel installation

Hi,

I've searched the forum in order to find this information and I found a very useful thread:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=317889&st=0

However, the "Installing a CAI snorkel" link doesn't work: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=118787

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks!

Thanks, AirWick! In that case I would have to remove the OEM cooling plate, right? I was thinking about opening a hole only on the left side. Isn't it possible for the snorkel to go down from there?

you can just cut an opening in the airguide and leave the rest there and that will also work properly. only remove the airguide if you have a cooling plate...

Thanks!

Another question: did anyone drill a hole in the snorkel so that the water that goes in can flow and not enter inside the air box? I don't know whether my question is clear...

Nope, don't know anyone that did cut theres. Im not sure if this applys but when i was installing the j's full intake i had to remove the metal bracket that the bumper mounts to in order to slide the snorkel in and down wards. (not sure what that part is called but its where the cooling plate covers/attaches to)
