Hitech email
Got this email from Hitech today, for anyone whos interested.
For all of you that still have your S2000, here is the latest update on the HyTech Header and exhaust. If you don't own one or got this e-mail by mistake just delete it.
We have totally redesigned the complete systems so they would fit with the new Craftworks supercharger kit.
The header will come in a three different versions. The NA two step and three step 4 into 2 into 1's and the supercharged 3 step with a 4 into 1 collector.
All of them will be able to bolt to the stock OEM location, these will how ever be a little short so it will bolt into the stock OEM location. For those who just want a header tans use there stock OEM cat his is the best option.
The other option is our long tube version using our Renault cat. Because the header is longer we needed to us the Renault cat so we could fasten back into the stock OEM cat back location. This header will fit back into the stock location and bolt to any existing cat back system. It will have the option of being three different exit sizes 63.5mm 21/2 or 70mm 2 3/4 or 76mm 3" The header weight is 16lbs and the cat is 9lbs. So that will cover all the bases.
The exhaust is being build now, there will be two style of mufflers available for the street we will use out twin loop mufflers and for the track we will use our light weight racing mufflers. We have also looked into Titanium systems as well and will have a working prototype in about a month.
Shawn Church will have dyno info for the Craftworks supercharger cars in a few weeks. It will be running the long tube supercharged version header Renault cat and our 3' to dual twin loop mufflers.
I know that is has been a long time getting to this point but we have finally arrived and are making headers as we speak. Don't ask me why it has taken so long I guess life gets in the way of my plans from time to time.
For those who still want to purchase headers and exhaust systems please reply to this e-mail and I will get them sent out in a timely manner. I have some pretty old invoices from some of you that might or might not want them at this time.
The cost of the headers are 1,350.00 and the Renault cat is 375.00 the twin loop exhaust is 1,799.00 with either the twin loop mufflers or the racing mufflers. The Ti system will be about an extra 500 for the material.
Thanks
