So today I got the hood and the louvers placed.

Nothing is final as the hood and louvers need to be painted. The new rear section fits great.

The louvers do sit above the hood. Some of the pictures look fairly flush but that is due to two things: the fact that they were just taped to the underside n that was slightly falling down. The other issue is that currently the outer and inner skins of the hood aren't connected (might be able to tell in the pictures). Pushing them together they do sit above (the ones most flat are the ones in front).

Around the cutout I'm thinking about about placing some weatherstripping. Also instead of using panel adhesive Im still planning on riveting them in.

Looks a lot better than I expected. Can't wait to see them secured, painted, and on the car.
