I got my new (used) AP2 compartment with wind visor and I am looking at the the door of my AP1 console and my new(used) AP2 console trying to figure out how it comes apart so I can swap the locksets? Anyone done this? Thanks!

I searched for lock swap, rear compartment lock etc and could not find a DIY Thread on this.

I can make one if someone tells me how to do it...

I'm going to have to go ahead and bump this, as I'm in the same situation as the OP.
I've looked at the part diagrams, and it looks to have a single bolt holding it in place, but I've got no clue about accessing that bolt.
