The headers do look fantastic from the engine bay and the rest of the exhaust, header back has craftsmanship among the best you'll find. Honestly it is very nice. I do love the sound. I especially love hearing it bounce off buildings in NYC or going through tunnels. Lately with the lock down it's easy to sneak out for a cruise with no other drivers to contend with.
I have the hytech headers on my S2000, the full exhaust actually and it's simply fantastic. it looks, sounds and performs so much better than anything else I have seen.
you owe the s2k community some video sound clips and photos asap
Buddy stood me up, because Covid-19... I'm going to ask my wife to video a couple of runs. Here are a few pics I snapped. If you want any specific shots or sounds let me know. I've never recorded an exhaust before.
I can just leave my phone running and do a few pulls for you.
I have a Hytech RH on my 8th FA5 & it's such a shame the only time I get to see it is when I'm under the car which is only to do an oil change these past years. Hands down the best looking header I have had my hands on & I've installed my share of RHs on 8ths. It is a S/C specific RH with the anti-reversion chambers & when I wanted to go to a 3" exhaust I contacted John to fabricate a 2.5"-3" megaphone test pipe. Needless to say the new megaphone test pipe was crafted just as beautifully as the header. Of course that leads me to me looking for a header for the S which I'm picking up tomorrow & I had put Hytech at the top of my list already.
All i can say i made 235whp on a stock header. No need for crazy expensive headers. Was tempted but after dyno tuning i was right. The OEM Header is a beast.
