The CR is not any different than an AP2 or much different from an AP1...so if you looking for wheel, suspension, engine mods etc...any part for an AP2 and most parts for AP1 will work with your CR...so you ability to mod, and choice are just as endless.
stwokcr,
What are you hoping to accomplish? What are your goals? Daily driver, track only, car shows, XXX horsepower??? Really, before you start modifying your car, you need to decide whether you should modify your car. For example, if you're using the car as a daily commuter, then there's really no advantage to having a gutted interior, loud exhaust, big wing on the rear, etc.....that would be advantageous for track/racing. See my point?
My suggestion is to get familiar with the car as it is....stock. You might just be surprised how great the S2000 handles and drives is in stock form before you decide to add various aftermarket parts to it.
Once you decide what you're looking for, then do a search on these forums and I'm sure you'll find an answer to your questions.

Christopher

i had a great article if i can find it that compared suspensions and for baselines they used a AP2 and a CR. the CR was vastly superior to the AP2, but all aftermarket coilovers were better than anything stock.
If I remember correctly, they had good things to say about Motons (expensive!), J's, and Tein (which are most cost friendly).
