Default I need I/H/T/E help. and hondata reflash help!

I will be short and sweet. this is my first day off work in... 6 weeks? I work for the government and shit is crazy where I work right now..I know not your prob.

I have been out of the game. I had a MY03 I/H/T/E with 4.77's... good time. telephone pole ended it.

I now have a LGP 2008.

I want the hondata reflash with the header. I dont know where or who to contact to get this done and get MY ECU and stuff back I am worried about the immobilizer. I mean the car has like 2000 miles on it.. lol

I'm not paying for a toda header, whats the next best thing in the realm of 600-800 bucks?

berks test pipe I figure...

I had invidia exhaust before figure I could go back to that route?

any help in the right direction would be appreciated I dont get much time to get online I have a crazy schedule.

Dude, if you're serious about the car and love it, don't buy cheap crap. Forget anything Megan, Invidia, Ebay, etc.

Get a used header like the above poster said, then look into a T1R (my first choice for a budget minded exhaust) followed by Greddy. You'll love the sound a lot more and it will be quality work. If you're set on an intake for the money I hear the K/N intake is a solid buy.

Read his post its an 08.. he had a AP1.

My set up is a Comptech header/70mm tp/70mm exhaust, stock intake/gutted/drop in/samco hose/snorkle, hondata img and of course the hondata flash and power is good the vtec transition is smooth. You can get a comptech for around 500-600 and used exhaust around that price too. Used intake or just gut your air box. The flash itself is 600 and is around a two day turn around. There is no issue with the immobilizer so don't worry about that.

invidia cheap? don't be to fond of yourself.....sure its cheaper then J's, Toda, and Mugen. But I bet I can get the same power with invidia stuff.

You can actually use the stock header as long as you have a test pipe or high flow cat. With the reflash you really want to use the Toda header because it was made for it. But the stock piece will do. Don't use the Comptech, it's a completely different design and may not produce the right air fuel ratios. Maybe the other poster can chime in on his air fuel ratios after the reflash. Anyway I've seen many people locally make nearly as good as power with the stock header as any other and lose power with anything but a Toda, J's, Mugen or Tracy Sports -- all with the reflash.

I would get the aem or K&N intake.

Any 70mm exhaust will do, it's really just dependent on what type of sound you want. You like the sound of the Invidia, then go for it.

i cant remember where it was at but there was a great write up on the Rick's Header which is on sale right now at Ricks2k.com. Good enough to seal the deal for me. I just got my header yesterday and am waiting on my Berk high flow cat. right now i have the Comptech Intake, OEM header, Spoon test pipe, HKS Hi-Power exhaust. I love the sound. Nice and deep. I cant say i am a fan of the invidia. (cat in blender sounding) With the replash. Just get a VAFC2 and get it tuned. Best of luck to you.
