Default Im a rookie using VAFC2

So I heard its best to tune our VAFC2's for WOT only? Will my tuner know how to set it safely? Im going to Church, I heard he is one of the best here in so cal. And I may need to reset my ecu each week? Is this true? Do I really have to mess with my ecu weekly since I'll eventually be using a VAFC2? How do I mess with it when it comes to smog check time? Or should I still pass with a vafc2?

it depends on the type. if it's a engine related problem than you can't drive your car till you pass the ref . If you get caught driving I

you only have to reset the ecu if you do partial throttle tuning....WOT you dont have to mess with the ecu. If I was you I would get it tuned and hide it under the seat or something. if smog gives u a problem get the Plug and play harness and just unplug it when you have to go thru emissions or something. Id recommend the plug and play harness neways because hardwiring the vafc sucks plug n play saves u time and aa headache
