Default Which induction kit / intake?

Hi guys,

only bought my S2000 a couple of months ago. Had a Lotus elise before that. I have to say, although i love the Honda, i need it to be louder. I think the cheapest option with the standard exhaust system is an induction kit.

Any ideas which one??

Im not too bothered about an increase in Bhp (as long as it doesnt reduce at all) just as long as it sounds cool.

Cheers

lol, everyone is gonna say search as there must be a 1000 thread son intakes BUT

You want sound, you can pick up any cai and it will do so. I recommend a aem cai or a fujita cai. You can also try to simple remove the top of te oem intake box and you may be susprised on how much LOUDER it will be then once you hit vtec.

best of luck

Yeah with the cover off it is much much louder. I have never had a CAI or heard one in person for the S2000, but the cover off is a huge difference in sound. In stop and go traffic or when warm out can heat soak much easier though. I only took mine off to hear it and then put the stock cover back on. If I get an aftermarket intake I am going to go with the K&N FIPK.

K&N FIPK

Great sound, clean install, good price, ... and it actually makes power.

Don't do a CAI if you are in a wet area. go with the Comptech or K&N

PRM is actually not that great it is subject to heat sock as well. Plus it does not even look that great. Your best bet is gutted stock box with a snorkel.
