innovative mount torque spec

Default innovative mount torque spec

Hi, can anywone can said me the torque spec for the innovative engine and tranny 75a mount?

the bolts that go into the side of the motor are 28ft/lb

I can't find the motor mount to frame tq numbers. Sorry.

the bolts that go into the frame holding the trans up are 28ft/lb

My problem in the toque spec on the sleeve of the bushing on the mount, if it torque to high, it cause to much vibration but i can find the spec

stock is 40ft/lb, I'm not sure about on the 75a mounts though. My cousin installed my 75a mounts so I'm not sure what he tq'ed them at.

swap racing said to loose them just a little bit, when i hand torque them the max i can, is ok but if i torque them with impact gun, its too much, i hear transmission bearing noise and the entire car have extreme vibration, especially at 4-6000 rpm, i will losse them a little and look what it will be after...

Yea dont use a impact! Use a tq wrench! If you use a impact you coupe easily put 90+ ft/lb in it and not realize it. I'd tq them to 40 like the stock ones are.


As for the vibration, get used to it. It gets alittle better as time goes on and they get broke in but the whole car shakes and the hood rattles
