Default Installed my Black Chrome Emblems

ordered this kit when i first got my s2k about a year ago...and today i got bored and decided to install it...took some pics along the way!

heres the car...

emblems before

heres another way to remove your emblems, i was using floss doubled up, even 4x but it kept breaking. and was taking too long. so i had this laying around and tried it out...worked really well!!! except in the end, i accidently broke between the 2 00's

pic is dark ....cause it was getting dark

pic after cleaning it up. i used WD-40 and that plastic shim so it wouldnt scrape the clear coat.

and here it is after the install...somewhat hard to tell the difference. but eh. whatever

also did the back emblem in the black. i already had the front one done, but now its all complete.

pretty easy, i ended up not even taping off the 2nd side as there was a SLIGHT outline that i could not get rid of (w/o substantial buffing) and i figured that would be just fine and not harm anything.

it looks good. the emblems used to match the brightness of the rims, but now they are much darker. i want to do something with my rims now

Look exactly the same to me.
I like the CR black ones much better. Or just satin black painted oem ones look great.

Hold the old ones up beside the new ones so we can actually see the difference,

Right now they both look the same, i dont see any "black" chrome
