Which intake would be best for my 08:

Fujita CAI
AEM
K&N
Comptech
J's
Mugen

I heard some CAI intake have problems with the 08, it will hit the hood. Can any clarify this that has an 08 with a CAI.

 

do a cearhc there are tons of topics on this. There is also a great intake thread in the NA section.

Out of those choices I would buy the Password JDM intake instead. the made it for DBW cars to if I recall correctly. + its close in price to the J's and cheaper than the Mugen

 

i just want to know if it will clear the hood. I was leaning on a Fujita.

 

yes PWJDM will clear the hood.

 

Fujita will hit your hood.

 

what will be a good intake and something not too outrageous in price that will clear for the 08

 

?!? my fujita clears just fine as does everyone elses. sounds like yours is installed wrong.

J's and Mugen require hood cutting. Make sure you know that your probably not going to get more than 5whp with any intake.
