To be honest... $400 for a bezel is a bit much.

Can you show us the difference between the JDM and yours? How about making it in plastic instead of carbon fiber and having it at a comparable price to the JDM one?

At $400 it makes even less sense to ruin your dash. This may have made sense pre smart phone era but now that nearly everyone has nav in their phone that can easily blue tooth to a stereo. To me it looks dated and ruins the cleanness of the dash.

I don't think it's worth $400, especially since it has a FRP core. I also didn't know all your CF work had a FRP core- what's the purpose of doing CF when you are adding weight instead of subtracting? Isn't that the purpose of CF? Unless it's just for show, which is kind of lame for a car that's purpose built like ours.

Anyway, I don't think the interest will be there, but if there is then go for it I guess.

I'd also be interested in seeing the price breakdown that justifies that price, but that's another topic I guess.

thank you for all the replies!

We do understand and appreciate all the concerns. The cost to do a new mold is a very cost prohibitive affair and could easily be a 5-digit price tag. To make that back we have to estimate how many of these we could potentially sell to cover the cost and in what length of time. It's a huge investment for very little profit margin until we break even. It's not your concern we understand that but looking at this right now and going off the replies we probably won't be producing this anytime soon.

Most likely we will continue to make CF overlay versions on an as needed basis which is what we've been doing thus far with good success.

We have s2000 owners demand a FULL interior CF setup from us so there are plenty of guys who demand a show quality interior. Not everyone is a race car

or maybe i am wrong about 3 digits, cause my factory was oversea ,itcould be 4 digits here , but 5 digits, i called a bullcrap.
