Default Invidia 70mm Testpipe

I have a 70mm Invidia Testpipe attached to my stock header and a Greddy SE Dual. I just can't get it right, the exhaust seems to blow between test pipe and header, i have the feeling the collector from the header is to small to fit the 70mm test pipe. i didnt have this issue with the 60mm testpipe i had before. anyone else who had this issue? The exhaust just sounds strange because it leaks. maybe it's better with the 70mm berk test pipe??

that's what i thought as well, but i bought a new doughnut gasket, still not better. It looks to me that somehow the flange of the invidia tp doesnt really fit?

Mine fits fine as well. It could be a one off problem with a bad TP. Did you buy it new from Invidia?

The nuts are as tight as possible and the springs are almost completely compressed. I bought the TP new from Invidia. I'll try to make a picture. Does anyone's car also sound very tinny and kind of like an old car with a broken exhaust? somehow it just doesn't sound right once the TP is attached... had a 60mm Tespipe before and it sounded way better and right in comparison..

Had to modify my bolts fitting a Berk HFC by grinding the flanges down flush on the area on the shank of the bolts, then found out the threaded area needed spacing out with washers to achieve more nip on the doughnut ring.
