So i recently bought my 70mm TP (on the car now with stock cat-back). I want to go the single exhaust rought and I refuse to pay for the high dollar exhausts. So i have these in mind. Please do not comment about how much i should spend to "do it right". That is not my question.

Greddy TI-C Single 70mm
Invidia N1 Single 70mm
Megan Drift-Spec Single 76mm/3"

So at the moment i am leaning towards the Megan Drift Spec becuase of the price and i am not a fan of blue/burnt tips.

The only questions i have about the setup is the fact that they offer it in a 2.5" or a 3" (I am NA and don't really have the money to go FI anytime soon.) sense my TP is 2.75" i was just thinking to myself which would be a better selection? the 2.5 or 3? Would it really even matter at all? (I wouldn't think so) I know its a half inch difference but will i really be feeling that....

Before all you hot heads get all up tight. Im sorry i didn't find the information i needed while searching. Everything i found was an opinion or just non related comments. Please make sure your comments are backed up with some sort of facts or expeirience, if they aren't they are no use to anyone.

Someone must of had a setup like this or similar that can share some information...

 

I used to have this set up with a tp and the 2.5 inch megan. For the price just buy the 3 inch! it sounds really deep and loud.

 

i love it, and if you ever go forced induction no need to upgrade, but its loud as FOOOOOK

 

if you have a 70mm testpipe go with the 70mm exhaust for best flow!
no "bottlenecking" that way

 

So going from a 70mm TP to a 76mm Cat-back is no big deal i would think?

Edit: I wish someone would test this. Maybe ill be the lucky one?

I ran a Megan 3" single with 70mm testpipe and it was unbearable. I sold it the next day.

I think this is deffinitly one of those systems you should hear in person before you purchase. There is not really anyone i know near me so maybe ill do some searching for s2k's with this exhaust near me before i bite the bullet and buy one.
